Lisa Jin

Who?

A second-year PhD student in computer science at the University of Rochester. Occasionally behind a music stand instead of a computer screen.

What?

My current research area is natural language processing, and I am advised by Prof. Daniel Gildea. Previously, I worked on summarizing and visualizing brain networks under Prof. Danai Koutra. (For a more detailed history, see Projects.)

When?

As an undergrad at Michigan, I pursued applied research in computer science × {neuroscience, psychology}. I was also on web development teams at Vodori and with Kellogg Eye Center. Both settings brought me to where I am today.

Where?

Rochester, NY.

Why?

Let me do some research and get back to you.
